RIVIERA BEACH, Fla. – Riviera Beach Maritime Academy teachers Jamie Aquino, Wilso Charles and four students will spend their spring break in Haiti, educating children about the ocean and searching for whales and dolphins.  Ms. Aquino, who teaches Language Arts at RBMA, is the advisor of the Haiti Ocean Project, a school club she initiated in 2007 that focuses on marine education, research and ecotourism.  They will be staying in the fishing village of Petite Riviere de Nippes, located approximately 65 miles west of Port-au-Prince, along the southern inner peninsula...read more
