Marine Industry Association of Palm Beach County - is a non-profit organization created to promote and protect the sound growth of the marine industry in Palm Beach County for the benefit and education of its members, the community, and the environment. It is a trade organization comprised of the area's leading marine-related businesses. As the organization has worked to serve its members, it has also become a leader in numerous legislative efforts on behalf of the 40,000+ registered boaters of Palm Beach County. MIA spearheaded the formation of the Marine Industry Education Foundation.

Marine Industry Education Foundation - purpose is to generate funds to support a wide array of enrichment endeavors, which may include educational, cultural, athletic and/or other related school activities that benefit the students, teachers, and staff of the Riviera Beach Maritime Academy. The Foundations works closely with teachers and staff and with the community to find the children who are most in need. It works to identify sponsors, and through targeted programs and contributions, attempts to enhance the school's quality of education and opportunities for success for our youth.
